「シンコデマヨ」とは？

シンコデマヨとは、スペイン語で「５月５日」のこと。この日を祝うメキシコのイベントが、アメリカでも始まり、誰もが知る全米各地のお祭りになりました。アメリカでは年々盛んになり、日本でも2013年に代々木公園でスタート。６回目迎える今年お台場「夢の広場」にて、5月12日（土）・5月13日（日）の二日間入場無料で開催。最も国際的なイベントの一つをお台場を盛り上げます。国際的な雰囲気の中で、本格的なフードとドリンク、インタラクティブなエンターテインメントをご家族、ご友人と一緒にお楽しみ頂けます。

Cinco de Mayo（Español）

Este dia se conmemora la Batalla de Puebla, donde un pequeno grupo de combatientes mexicanos derroto a un ejercito frances mucho mas grande, que en ese momento era considerado el mas fuerte del mundo. Cinco de Mayo se ha vuelto especialmente popular en los Estados Unidos, donde se celebran todas las cosas mexicanas.

El Cinco de Mayo en Japon, que comenzo en 2013 en el Parque Yoyogi, celebrara su sexto ano de conmemoraciones en Odaiba. Habra exhibiciones, no solo de Mexico, sino tambien musica, danza y gastronomia de muchos otros paises del hemisferio occidental. Conocido como uno de los festivales mas “internacionales” en Japon, es una gran oportunidad para disfrutar de buena comida, bebidas y entretenimiento interactivo con amigos y familiares.

Cinco de Mayo means 5th of May in Spanish. The day is to commemorate the Battle of Puebla, where a small team of Mexican fighters defeated a much larger French army, which at the time was considered the strongest in the world. Cinco de Mayo has grown especially popular in the United States, where all things Mexican are celebrated.

Cinco de Mayo in Japan, which started in 2013 in Yoyogi Park, will hold its 6th year of celebrations in Odaiba.
